The easiest way to get involved in one of the games here at LostCoastGaming.com is to watch the forums for Player Calls. GMs who need players for games will often post there with information you'll need to create a character and join the game.

Alternately, you can send a private message to any of the GMs via the Messenger applet you'll find at the top of the right sidebar, or by using the Personal Message function of the forum.

Monitor the progress of the games so you can see how each individual GM handles story flow, player turns, and so on. You can do this by keeping tabs on the "New Game Moves!" list in the right sidebar -- the latest action is always indicated by a red "updated" indicator. This will also allow you to think about the kinds of character you might submit to this game so it will blend in well with those already existent, if applicable.

It's a good idea to read what the GM has posted about their game (the GM's journal, background information and/or wiki, Story Progress Articles, etc) so you'll know what's transpired thus far.

Lastly, keep watch on the site for new games forming. Sometimes the easiest way to get in on a game is to join it from the very beginning. :) Announcements appear on the front page for all games starting on the site.
